The goal of counselling is supporting people to experience living a life that is well-lived and to provide counselling and coaching services that deliver long-lasting results to those struggling with stress, anxiety or depression. This can be accomplished through several methods such as a goal-oriented approach, or through cognitive-behaviour techniques. These approaches will assist to develop resiliency in individuals like you, so you can get through the roughest moments for the rest of your life.

1-on-1 approach
Counselling
You will get the support needed to handle life’s challenges. This is the ideal approach for addressing a variety of concerns. These sessions focus heavily on you and what you want to achieve during each session.

Here are some things you can expect to address in our time together. Please keep in mind, you will be the director of our sessions. Therefore, a timeline for completion or a full list of expectations cannot be provided due to the flexible nature of this approach.
Initial discovery of your symptoms and triggers
Review of your week(s) since meeting last
Discussion on your presenting concern of the day
Psychoeducation related to your concern
Engage in problem solving
Discuss a SMART goal for the session
Establish coping tools and strategies to move forward
Creation of self-care routines
Homework to facilitate change outside of sessions
Review of homework, barriers, concerns.
Fees
We are a professional fee-for-service healthcare practice.
Fees are payable at the time of the visit by credit card, email transfer or cheque.
Our fees may be covered under your insurance plan. We recommend calling your insurance provider and inquiring directly.
